Two Lips

We had a beautiful spring day in Oregon on Thursday. I can't even describe the beauty!! Especially since it has been cold and rainy as of late. So, I skipped out of work early and we went to the tulip festival in Woodburn. One of the glorious things about Oregon is that is surrounded by farming communities. You don't have to drive very far to feel like you are in a very rural area. It also happened to be my sisters birthday and when I told her Dan and I were going to the tulip festival she wanted to come to. We had a lot of fun and I'm glad we got outside because now it is rainy and cold again.

Our three cutie pies.

I have to admit the most exciting part of the tulip festival was riding in the wooden shoe. Seriously!

Love the photos. It looks like it was sunnier in the afternoon than in the morning. So funny that we went on the same day.

Personally, I think that the wooden shoe is very becoming! And I totally agree. We weren't in Oregon very long (not long at all actually) but I loved how beautiful and green it is. And congrats Dan for making it through all of those horrible tests!!
