Lego New Year

The kids got a bunch of Legos for Christmas and so we decided we would have a Lego themed New Years Eve party. It was A LOT of fun!

We guessed how many Legos were in the jar...

Lukey was the winner!! (good guess daddy)

We had a Lego scavenger hunt

Everyone found their color!

 We made Lego crowns!

 We had Lego snacks!

 We even had Lego cups!

We always have fondue on New Years Eve. We made cheese fondue for our first course and then we cook chicken, steak and shrimp in broth for our second course.

We made Lego cake pops for dessert!

Then we played some games and waited around for midnight to strike!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Christmas Church

We dug ourselves out of the present explosion and got ready for church. I hadn't put any pomade in my hair when we took this picture so please ignore my fuzzy hair. Besides that it is a cute picture.

Present time!

After breakfast we dug into the presents! It was so fun to watch Lukey on his first Christmas. He loved the paper and he really loved all of his toys.

Christmas Morning

Santa came!!!

Lukers opening his stocking! Looks like he got some puffs from Santa.

Luke is very careful about opening his presents.

These older kids just tear right in, nothing slow or careful about it!

Mom and Dad also got some stockings stuffers from Santa.

Lukey got a new chewy, crinkly elephant.

 Yay for stockings!

Hmmm, I don't really know what to say about this face or the drop of drool about to drip off his chin.

This teenager got BLING Toms from Santa! I think she likes them!

This little boy got his Batman house. He has been talking about it for months! I love the excitement on his face.

Luke got a ball popper!

 He LOVES it!

Already playing with Santa gifts and we haven't even started all the other gifts!

We took a break to have breakfast and Jenna tried out her new drinking glasses.

This is my favorite breakfast of the year. Orange french toast with pomegranate, bacon wrapped waterchestnuts and orange juice. YUMMMY!
