We were excited for Lukey's first fourth of July! I bought us red, white and blue Old Navy shirts and we spent our first night away from home. Lukey did great, but I never want to sleep in the same room with him again. I was up half the night because he grunts and groans in his sleep! So, if I look dead tired in these pictures, I am!
We have now made it a tradition to attend the Hillsboro parade on the fourth. I think I will start referring to is as the Candy parade. The kids get bucket loads of candy!

This parade is AWESOME because you get yummy treats like FRESH RASPBERRIES!! YUM!
In the evening we go up to Vancouver, WA to have a BBQ and fireworks with my sister's in-laws. We had a lot of fun this year with treasure hunts, Minute To Win It games and a pinata!

We ended the night with TONS of amazing fireworks. We only made it until 10 pm because WE were both exhausted from the previous night and Lukey was ready to go home and go to bed!
