What a difference a year makes! One year ago I still had this little guy in my tummy! This is one of Luke's last "firsts". We look forward to the Tulip festival all year. It is one of the most beatiful places that we get to visit. It was fun to take Lukers and he hammed it up for the camera.

Crawling
Our little baby big boy started crawling at 11 months and it was SO cute!! Daddy made a little fort one night and Luke was in heaven crawling through the tunnels after his Dad! It is so fun to see Luke move around by himself, but my life will never be the same. The cabinets are locked, things are put away, plugs are covered and my babe doesn't just sit and play with toys. He now wants all the big people stuff!
Easter at Home
Lukey had a little Easter Egg hunt at home. We spread the eggs out on in the living room and he had fun crawling around and picking them up!
When we showed him that there were snacks inside the eggs he wanted to open them all and eat up all the puffs, cheerios, yogurt melts and baby cheetos!
He also started to pull himself up on furniture for the first time on this day!!
Here is our handsome little man ready for Easter Sunday! He got an Easter basket with a few books, toys and snacks! He wasn't in a smiley mood, but he sure did look cute.
After church we enjoyed ham, green jello, rolls, deviled eggs, twice baked potatoes and asparagus for dinner! Luke loved the ham and the green jello!

Easter Egg Hunting
We went to the Sherwood Hunt for Hope this year a few weeks before Easter. It had rained earlier in the morning and it looked like rain that day, but as soon as we arrived at the event the sun came out and was out during the entire hunt and then it rained later that day. We had to pay $5 per kid, but the money was going to a family with a child with cancer so we can't say no to that!
The fields were a muddy mess so it was a good thing we had our rain boots on. Here we are waiting at the 0-2 year old field.
This was an awesome hunt because there were so many eggs!! No fighting over eggs today.
While we waited for the hunt to start Luke passed the time by poking my eyes. One of the many torturous things he does to me and I love it!
Playing and pulling with my earrings is another one of his favorite past times :)
Off to get some eggs!! He actually did pretty good taking steps in his rain boots.
After a few times of showing him we put the eggs in the bag he started to do it by himself.
I'm not sure how Luke felt about the Easter bunny. He was a little creeped out!
Luke had the best time riding on his Daddy's shoulders!
We bought a couple of raffle tickets and waited around for the raffle to happen and by golly we WON!! We never win anything so I was shocked that we actually won. We won 6 delicious cupcakes and a certificate for a dozen more!
A Trip to the Park
We had a fun little trip to the park one day in April and took some cute pictures of our little boy. I just can't get enough of his sweet little smile and perfect little facial features!
