Easter Egg Hunting

We went to the Sherwood Hunt for Hope this year a few weeks before Easter. It had rained earlier in the morning and it looked like rain that day, but as soon as we arrived at the event the sun came out and was out during the entire hunt and then it rained later that day. We had to pay $5 per kid, but the money was going to a family with a child with cancer so we can't say no to that!

The fields were a muddy mess so it was a good thing we had our rain boots on. Here we are waiting at the 0-2 year old field.

This was an awesome hunt because there were so many eggs!! No fighting over eggs today.

While we waited for the hunt to start Luke passed the time by poking my eyes. One of the many torturous things he does to me and I love it!
Playing and pulling with my earrings is another one of his favorite past times :)

Off to get some eggs!! He actually did pretty good taking steps in his rain boots.

After a few times of showing him we put the eggs in the bag he started to do it by himself.

I'm not sure how Luke felt about the Easter bunny. He was a little creeped out!

Luke had the best time riding on his Daddy's shoulders!

We bought a couple of raffle tickets and waited around for the raffle to happen and by golly we WON!! We never win anything so I was shocked that we actually won. We won 6 delicious cupcakes and a certificate for a dozen more!

So fun! I never go to Easter egg hunts. I should, maybe next year. And I have to agree with Luke, that Easter Bunny is a little creepy.
