When I was growing up we always had an Easter egg hunt at home. We all had a designated color of eggs and we had to hunt all over the house to retrieve them. Since I love candy it was always a very fun event for me and Dan and I have carried on the tradition for each other the past couple of years. It will be fun next year to do it for Luke.
So, here I am 39 weeks pregnant looking for candy filled eggs! I know we are huge dorks, but we LOVE it!
Dan went pretty easy on me this year and I even got a special money surprise in one of my eggs!!
Later in the afternoon we dyed eggs with the Poytress clan.
It was the first 70 degree weather we have had in Portland this year. We decided to take our dinner up to Rocky Butte where we had a view of downtown Portland, Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Rainer and Mt. Hood. It was a beautiful evening and we were so happy to be outside enjoying the sunshine!
